From December 2015, the foundation has been part of the Limassol Traffic Department Road Safety Volunteer group. This is a group which aims to significantly reduce the number of road accident victims all over Cyprus.
The group entails: the Limassol Traffic Department, The Dr Yiota Demetriou Dancing Queen Foundation, The Giorgos Mavrikios Road Safety Foundation, the volunteers of Limassol Road Safety, EGOPHOBIA Motorcyclist Club, PSALTIS – COMLINE RALLY TEAM & ENEOS and the Cyprus Road Assistance (ΟΔ.Υ.ΚΥ.) AUTO ASSISTANCE.
Mr. Pampos Karris who is the Road Safety Representative of the Limassol Traffic Police, organises a series of lectures which are presented at: schools, companies and local community centres in the Limassol district. At the events, the above-mentioned groups, present their stories and personal experiences in attempt to influence and enhance the message of safe and responsible driving.
Being actively involved in improving our community and being a member of such a dedicated team has been a true privilege.
